The ASEAN Community Leadership & Partners Forum will bring together Leaders from Government, Business, Academia, Think Tanks and Civil Society to discuss the future challenges facing ASEAN in the new global era. The Forum with the theme, “Building Partnerships for a Sustainable and Inclusive ASEAN”” will also bring together next generation leaders of ASEAN, as well as women and young entrepreneurs. The ASEAN Community Leadership & Partnership Forum provides a timely opportunity to feel the pulse of ASEAN and evaluate the progress and achievements of ASEAN as well as its future prospects. This year the event will be held on 23 and 24 June 2019 in conjunction with the 34th ASEAN Summit in Bangkok, Thailand.

The event is organized by Kingsley Strategic Institute, the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs, Nation Building Institute, Thailand, the Federation of Thai Industries, the ASEAN Studies Centre and the Asia Centre.

• ASEAN’s Next Generation – Shaping the Future: Reimagining ASEAN among the Youths
• ASEAN in the Age of Disruption – Wiring Up ASEAN for the Digital Economy, Fueling Innovation
• Pushing Ahead with Connectivity: Pathway to Integration and Prosperity

Asia Centre is inviting expressions of interest from senior representatives of universities, think-tanks and NGOs based in Thailand to participate in the event by registering online. There are up to 30 free registrations which cover the conference fee and associated meals are only facilitated by the Asia Centre. Please note that expenses such as airfares, accommodation and local transport are not covered.

Asia Centre is a social enterprise that serves as a think-tank, convenes meetings and undertakes projects through collaborative partnerships.

It established its first centre in 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand whose activities focus on human rights issues in the region.

In 2018, Asia Centre established a second centre in Johor Bahru, Malaysia with a focus on arts and culture.

Asia Centre provides advisory and consultancy services for educational institutions, international organizations, non-profit organizations and other institutions in the private and public sector. It conducts research, publishes its findings, organises events and runs capacity building programmes.
